Pakistan Board Results
Find your examination result by selecting the correct board, class and year. Pakword organizes Result pages for Matric, Intermediate and other supported examinations so students can reach information for their own board and examination cycle.
There is no single result date for every education board in Pakistan. Result dates, announcement times and checking methods can differ by board, class and examination session. Always open the Result page for your own board, class, year and examination type.

Find Your Board Result
Start by choosing your examination board.
Then select your class, examination year and exam type.
A useful path is:
Board → Class → Year → Examination Type → Result.
Checking all four details prevents you from opening a result page for another board or examination cycle.
Is the Result Announced?
Result status should always be checked for the individual examination.
A Result page may show a status such as:
Not Yet Announced when the board has not released the result or confirmed a date.
Expected when the result is anticipated but no official date has been confirmed.
Official Date Confirmed when the board has published an exact result date.
Result Today when the verified announcement falls on the current date.
Announced when the result has been released.
Delayed when an officially expected result has been postponed.
Archived when the examination cycle has passed and the Result page remains available for reference.
Do not treat an expected result date as an official announcement.
9th Class Results
9th Class is commonly associated with SSC Part I.
Different examination boards publish their own results and provide their own result-checking systems. Select the board under which you are registered before checking a 9th Class result.
The board, examination year and annual examination session should all match your own examination.
10th Class Matric Results
10th Class is commonly known as Matric or SSC Part II.
A Matric result page should clearly identify the examination board, year and examination type. Where the board provides a verified online result system, Pakword can direct students to the appropriate checking method.
Do not use a result date from another board simply because both examinations are called Matric.
11th Class Results
11th Class is commonly associated with HSSC Part I or First Year.
Its result may be announced separately from HSSC Part II. Students should therefore select 11th Class rather than relying on a general Intermediate result page.
The relevant board's current notice determines the actual announcement date and checking method.
12th Class Intermediate Results
12th Class is commonly associated with HSSC Part II or Second Year.
These results are particularly important for students applying to universities and other higher education programs, but announcement schedules still differ between examination authorities.
Check the exact board, year and examination session before relying on a date.
First Annual and Second Annual Results
First Annual and Second Annual examinations are separate result cycles.
A result announced for the First Annual examination does not mean that the Second Annual result is also available.
Pakword should keep the examination type visible on every Result page so students can identify the correct cycle.
How to Check a Result by Roll Number
Roll number is a common result-search method, but the exact system depends on the board.
Where a verified official result portal supports roll-number search, the general process is:
- Open the correct Result page.
- Follow the verified result portal link.
- Select the required examination where necessary.
- Enter your roll number.
- Complete any verification or captcha required by the board.
- Submit the search.
- Check the result details carefully.
The fields displayed by the official board portal take priority over instructions copied from older articles or another board.
Can You Check the Result by Name?
Some examination systems allow name-based searching while others do not.
Pakword should mention a name-search method only when it has been verified for that board and examination.
Do not assume that every result can be checked by name, CNIC or B-Form.
Result by SMS
Some education boards provide an SMS result service.
The SMS code and required message format can differ by board and examination cycle.
Pakword should display an SMS method only after verifying it from an authoritative source. Students should not send personal or examination information to an unverified number simply because it appears on another education website.
Result Gazette
A Result Gazette is a broader examination result document that may be issued by some boards.
Gazette availability, format and access method differ between examination authorities.
If a verified gazette is available for an examination, the individual Pakword Result page can show the appropriate option.
Do not assume that every board publishes a downloadable PDF gazette.
What If the Result Website Is Not Opening?
Official result websites can receive heavy traffic immediately after a major result announcement.
If the portal does not load:
- Confirm that you are using the correct board website.
- Check whether the official result time has arrived.
- Wait briefly and try the portal again.
- Use another verified method such as SMS or gazette only if the board provides it.
- Avoid entering your roll number on an unknown website simply because the official portal is busy.
A slow board website does not mean that the result has been cancelled or changed.
Check the Result Date and Time Carefully
A board may announce an exact result date and time.
If no official time has been confirmed, Pakword should not invent one.
Likewise, an old 10:00 AM result time from a previous examination cannot automatically be applied to the current examination.
The current official notice should determine what Pakword publishes.
Result Statistics and Position Holders
Boards may publish statistics such as total candidates, successful candidates, pass percentages and position holders.
These figures should only be included when they come from official board material.
Statistics from another examination year or another class should never be presented as current figures.
What to Do After Checking Your Result
First make sure the result belongs to the correct board, class and examination.
Students who need a formal result card, certificate, rechecking or re-totaling service should follow the procedure provided by their examination board.
Do not assume that the online result screen replaces every official academic document.
Old Results
Previous examination results can remain useful for students who need to check an earlier examination cycle.
When looking for an old result, select the correct year as well as the board and class.
An archived Result page should be clearly identified so it is not confused with the current examination cycle.
Use Pakword to Find the Correct Result Information
Pakword is an independent information website and does not itself announce examination-board results.
The Results section is designed to organize result information by board, class, year and examination type and help students reach verified result sources.
Select your board and class above, choose the correct examination year, and open the Result page to see the latest verified status and available checking methods.
