Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE)
DAE stands for Diploma of Associate Engineering. It is a technical qualification for students who want to study an engineering-related technology with a strong practical component after secondary education.

However, students should not assume that every DAE technology automatically receives exactly the same HSSC group or that every DAE can simply be described as FSc Pre-Engineering.
IBCC has separately approved HSSC Pre-Engineering equivalence for a number of specific three-year DAE technologies. The exact treatment therefore depends on the recognized qualification and current equivalence rules.

What Do Students Study in DAE?
