BISE Bahawalpur

About BISE Bahawalpur

The Government of Punjab approved BISE Bahawalpur as a separate educational board in 1977 after separating Bahawalpur Division from the Multan Board’s administrative setup.

A camp office was established in Multan on 9 July 1977. The Bahawalpur Board then started functioning in Bahawalpur on 3 February 1978, initially from a rented building. Its first supplementary examination was held later in 1978.

For this reason, 1977 is the more appropriate establishment year, while 3 February 1978 is useful when explaining when the board became operational in Bahawalpur.

BISE Bahawalpur serves the Bahawalpur Division of Punjab.
