The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Summer Internship Program 2025 is an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience in Pakistan’s financial sector. This six-week internship will be held from June 23, 2025, to August 1, 2025, at the State Bank of Pakistan headquarters in Karachi.

The State Bank of Pakistan Internship 2025 is open to Pakistani and AJK students who hold a valid CNIC, NICOP, or passport. This internship will help students develop a deeper understanding of the banking system while enhancing their professional skills.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

To qualify for the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Summer Internship Program 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background:
  • Must have completed at least two years of a four-year Bachelor’s degree OR be enrolled in a Master’s program.
• Fields of Study:
  • The program is available for students pursuing degrees in:
    • Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration
    • Accounting, Finance, Commerce
    • Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Agriculture
    • Media Sciences, Mass Communication, Information Systems, and Technology
• Minimum Academic Requirements:
  • At least 70% marks for students following a percentage-based grading system.
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00 for students in a GPA-based system.
• Other Requirements:
  • Final-year students or graduates are not eligible to apply.
  • Students must meet these requirements at the time of application.

Selection Process 

After the application deadline, SBP will review all applications and shortlist candidates based on merit.

• Shortlisted students will be informed by March 14, 2025.
• Selected candidates must submit scanned attested copies of the following documents:
  • Latest semester’s official transcript
  • CNIC, NICOP, or valid passport
  • Domicile certificate
  • One passport-size photograph
• Any attempt to influence the selection process will result in automatic disqualification.
• Final selection will be made by SBP, and selected students will receive confirmation emails with further details.

Important Information About the Internship

• The internship will be conducted at SBP Headquarters in Karachi.
• No travel or accommodation costs will be covered by SBP.
• Providing false information at any stage will result in the cancellation of the internship.
