Government of Punjab has issued notification of revised financial assistant package 2023 for the civil servants working in Punjab. The families of Government Employees of Punjab who dies during in service or during performing duty will be given New Financial Assistance Package 2023. Revised Financial Assistance Package Punjab 2023
The Families of Punjab Govt Employees’ from BS 01 to BS 22 will be given Updated Financial Assistant Package 2023 wef 21 November 2023. The revised rates of Financial assistant package are as;

| 11-15 | 22,00,000 | 100,00,000 |
| 16-17 | 25,00,000 | 1,50,00,000 |
| 18-19 | 34,00,000 | 2,00,00,000 |
| 20 & Above | 40,00,000 | 2,00,00,000 |
Other Financial Benefits for Employees Who Dies In-Service
The following benefits will also be given the legal heirs of the employee who dies in service
Salary/ Pension
The Salary will be given to family till the superannuation or age 60 years and after this, the pension will be started as per rules
Accommodation
The family deceased civil servant shall be allowed government accommodation till the age of superannuation as per defined rules
Education
The children of deceased shall be given educational scholarships (03 children) out of Punjab benevolent fund
Employment
Before issuance of Revised Financial Assistance Package Punjab 2023, the wife or 01 children of deceased was appointed on BS-01 to BS-11. But, wef 21-11-2023, the employment will not be given
The family of the deceased Civil employees of Punjab are also eligible to entitle Free Health Facilities, Marriage Grant, monthly benevolent grant and group insurance as per rules already defined by the Punjab Government.
