Ramzan Relief Package 2022 Punjab Government

The Cabinet Committee Meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Senior Provincial Minister Mr. Aleem Khan regarding Ramzan Relief Package 2022 by the Government of Punjab. In Ramzan Relief Committee Meeting, the Minister of Law, Minister Of Finance, Secretary Industry, Secretary Agriculture, Secretary Food and Other Members participated. The Cabinet Committee Members suggested to Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, not to set Ramzan Bazar in Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 2022.

Direct Cash Relief during Ramzan ul Mubarik 2022

Moreover the senior Minister, Aleem Khan said that the Government of Punjab has a desire to Giver Ramzan relief Package 2022, but due to the Current outbreak of Coronavirus, we can not take risks that can cause any danger to humans life. Moreover, it was decided to give direct Cash Relief during Ramzan-ul-Mubarik 2022 to the people of Punjab. He said that in Ramzan Cash Relief, more than 20 lac Families will get Benefit during Ramzan relief Package 2022. The final decision will be approved by the Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.

Subsidy on Electricity Bills during Ramzan ul Mubarak in Punjab.

The Punjab Government is also seeking a proposal to give Direct Subsidy on Electricity Bills in Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 2022. As the Government of Punjab establishes Ramzan Bazar every year, but this year this is not possible to arrange Ramzan bazaars in Punjab due to the increasing number of Corona Virus Cases in Punjab. Due to this, the Director General of Industries, Prices, Weights & Measures (DG IPWM) has circulated a letter to all Electricity Producing Agencies.

A letter is circulated to all the Chief Executive Officers of LESCO, FESCO, MEPCO, GEPCO and IEPCO to provide the District wise Bills data of only Residential Consumer with Average of Rupees 1500 per month, rupees 2000 per month and rupees 3000 per month. So the data analysis is in progress to give the relief package to the public in Punjab during Ramzan Relief Package 2022.
