Election Commission General Election Pakistan Schedule 2013

Following is the Revised schedule of General election 2013 issued by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

In partial modification of this Commission’s Notification of even number, dated the 22^nd March, 2013, in exercise of its powers under section 11A of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 (Act No. LXXXV of 1976) and on the demand of Political Parties from Balochistan, the Election Commission is pleased to revise various stages of schedule for General Elections, 2013 contained therein to the following extent:

2.	Dates for filing of nomination papers with the Returning Officers by the candidates	24.03.2013 to 31.03.2013
3	Dates for Scrutiny of nomination papers by the Returning Officers	01.04.2013 to 07.04.2013
4.	Last date for filing of appeals against decisions of the Returning Officers rejecting/accepting the nomination papers	10.04.2013
5.	Last date for deciding appeals by the Tribunals	17.04.2013
6.	Last date for withdrawal of candidature	18.04.2013
7.	Publication of revised list of candidates	19.04.2013
8.	Polling Day	11.05.2013

2. The date of poll will remain the same as was notified earlier.

3. The above mentioned Programme shall also apply to the seats reserved for Women and non-Muslims in the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies of the Punjab, Sindh, KhyberPakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Note:- The offices of the Election Commission as well as the offices of District Returning Officers and Returning Officers will remain open on 30th, 31st March, 2013, 6th and 7th April, 2013.
