New syllabi will be introduce from grade 3 to 10 by the ministry of education. Almost 36 books will be changed for 3 to 10 class students, under that decision. New books will be introduce to fulfill the needs of present time. Following changes are made in different classes; science and english (class 3),
Islamiyat, english, maths, urdu (class 4), S Studies, english, maths, urdu, islamiyat (class 5), Persian, agriculture, H Economics, draft, art (class 6), S Studies, Islamiyat, H Economics, english, science, S Studies, urdu (class7), H Economics, persian, Arabic, agriculture, Islamiyat, maths, english, science, s studies and urdu (class 8), and geographic Studies, civics and G science (class 9).
Exclusion of English medium is upto next academic year. Meanwhile, Punjab Teachers ssociation reject these changes and called them a burden on poor students. Moreover, the matric exams 2014 of all the nine boards of Punjab will be held from 1st march 2014.
