In Karachi 3 DNA camps set up for victims’ identity

Three DNA camps have been setup to collect samples from families of the victims of the factory fire.According to provincial health minister Sagheer Ahmed, 15 samples had been received at Jinnah while 17 had been received at Abbasi Hospital.

The samples will be used to identify the victims and the camps have been set up at Jinnah Hospital, Abbasi and Civil Hospital.

The heirs to victims are being provided free of cost service which would continue till late night.

These camps are being supervised by Medical Superintendents of the said hospitals, with the hope that they would be able to identify the ill-fated bodies burnt to death in tragic incident occurred in garment factory.

Several victims of the Karachi fire have not been identified as they were unfortunately burnt beyond recognition.

The fire which broke out in the garment factory on Tuesday claimed over 250 lives and is the biggest industrial disaster in the history of Pakistan.
