Karachi, Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has declared the HSSC Part 2 annual examination results 2013 for commerce and humanities regular and special group on Thursday. Once again girls have beaten boys in the annual exams result. In the commerce group, the first position went to Momina Khalil of the Bahria College (Karsaz) by getting 933 marks out of 1,100, second and third position clinched by Sheikh Mustafa of the College of Emerging Technologies and Sehar Aslam of the Fatimayah College Girls campus by getting 931 and 928 marks, respectively.
In the humanities (regular) group, the top position went to Komal Zaib student of the Mustafavi Shariah College (MSC). She got 81.55 percent. Huda Fatima of the PECHS Government College for Women remained second with 80.45 percent, while the third position has been taken by Kaifa Naseer of the MSC with 79.55 percent. In the HSC humanities (special candidates) group, first position went to Faraz Shadani, second was taken by Abdullah Tariq and Hammad bin Tariq got third position. As many as 35,393 candidates took exam in the group of commerce while 19,984 of them could pass it by making pass percentage of 56.46.
In humanities (regular) group, a total of 10,591 candidates sit for the exam and 4,750 of them succeeded in the final result with pass percentage of 44.85.in the humanities group for special candidates, as many as 53 candidates sit for the exams and 51 of them pass it by making pass percentage of 96.67%. The board official said that the mark sheets will be issued after the duration of two weeks from the concerned institutions.
